I’m an endlessly curious, semi-nomadic story hunter-gatherer (of the plant-based type). I usually move around the Mediterranean hunting for information about human rights violations, inequality, and discrimination, and gathering stories about social justice and respect for human dignity.

I have worked with non-profit organisations across the Mediterranean and as an independent journalist reporting from Portugal, the Balkans, and the Middle East. My work has been published by The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, BBC, MEE, and other outlets.

My main goal is to tell stories that foster solidarity and engagement.
I’m interested in understanding and documenting the causes of inequality and discrimination, and emphasising how injustice happening to someone else, somewhere else, affects everyone.
